The idea

This is a corner for unsaid messages. Peruse what other people have left, write your own, or sit and listen to a track.

Stay as long as you like.

Why share it

Sometimes it's an apology. Sometimes it's I love you, or thank you, or I was wrong, or I've thought about that afternoon for eleven years.

It stays unsaid because there was never a good way to hand it over — so it sits in drafts, or a note nobody has seen.

Putting it here doesn't send it to the person it's for. It sends it to whoever happens to be reading. Sometimes that's nobody in particular. Sometimes it's someone who needed those exact words that day.

And it gets a date. Not the day it happened — the day you finally said it.

Two ways to leave one

It was never meant for them.

The mark is the sender's wish, not something we did. Nothing is delivered. We don't pass messages on, and we never look anyone up — the whole thing only works because nobody has to be found.

What you'll see here

A first name, sometimes an initial, sometimes just Mom. A date. Fifty words at most. Never a full name, a handle, or anything that could lead back to a real person who didn't ask to be written about.

Everything accepted is posted here with the date it arrived. A few are recorded each week and read aloud — by an AI voice, or by the sender's own if they left one.

Before anything appears

Every message is read by a person before it goes anywhere. That's why not all of them appear, and why it sometimes takes a while.

Whenever you're ready

It doesn't have to be perfect, or long, or make sense to anyone but you.
